The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) on Tuesday agreed to appoint the candidate of Balochistan National Party (BNP) as the governor of Balochistan, 24NewsHD TV channel reported citing informed sources.

Abdul Wali Kakar will be the candidate of the BNP for the governorship of Balochistan.

It is to be noted here that the post of the Balochistan governor has been lying vacant for nine months.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Governor of Balochistan Zahoor Agha had resigned on April 17 last.

Balochistan Assembly Speaker Jan Muhammad Jamali is the acting Balochistan governor.
