NAB arrests late Makhdoom Amin Fahim’s son

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested one of the sons of late PPP stalwart Makhdoom Amin Fahim on corruption charges in Karachi, reported 24News HD TV channel on Thursday.
Makhdoom Jalil-uz-Zaman, commonly known as Makhdoom Habibullah, was arrested from Bahria Town. He is accused of corruption involving millions of rupees during his stint as taluka nazim in Musharraf era.
The latest arrest came just a day after an accountability court in Rawalpindi awarded 10-year imprisonment to a former PML-N provincial assembly member in assets beyond means case.
Moreover, the court also slapped a fine of Rs50 million to Chaudhry Muhammad Riaz against whom the reference was filed in 2002.
