PM Khan congratulates nation over FBR track and trace system launching

Prime Minister Imran Khan says FBR's own track and trace system will help generate additional revenue and digitize the economy.

PM expressed that track and trace system will help prevent counterfeiting. He said all measures are towards effective and transparent governance.

Earlier in the day, he said in a message on Twitter that the FBR had successfully collected Rs.1,395 billion instead of the target of Rs.1,211 billion during the first quarter of the financial year 2021-22.

In the first quarter of the year, tax collections were recorded at 38.3% higher than the target of Rs.1211 billion in the first quarter.
