Repairs to N-55’s damaged portions to be completed soon: NHA

On the instructions of Federal Minister for Communications Maulana Asad Mehmood, heavy machinery has been sent for carrying out repairs to the damaged portion of national highway N-55, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

The officials of National Highway Authority (NHA) said that all resources would be utilised to repair the road, damaged in the wake of torrential rains and flash floods, and restore traffic flow on it.

“The NHA officials are trying to restore traffic on N-55, and all the damaged portions are likely to be repaired by tonight,” they added.

The NHA officers were stated to be present on the spot for early restoration of traffic on the road. Besides, KP MPA Murshid Amin also visited the damaged portions of N-55 and inspect the work for their rehabilitation.
