Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police have launched a Bicycle Patrol Unit on Saturday with a ceremony held, reporting 24NewsHD TV channel.
IC Police said: “This unit will serve as a deterrent for making local footpaths, streets and public spaces safer for pedestrians and cyclists.”

IG Islamabad ASP Amna Baig said the Bicycle Patrol Unit will comprise 10 police cyclists.
“Bicycles Squad has been equipped with all facilities by special training. It will also help citizens with street crime prevention and community policing,” Amna Baig said.
