Controversy has arisen over the decision to hold elections in Punjab and KP. Four judges dismissed the Suo Motu case and three judges issued directions to the Election Commission. So, the decisions of the minority cannot override the majority.
Census is going on in the country, the results are yet to come. Holding elections without census results is not in the interest of the country.
Holding more than one election will further weaken the economy. If elections are held in Punjab, it will have an impact on the country.
