The Balochistan Assembly on Friday witnessed the presentation of a joint congratulatory resolution acknowledging Pakistan’s significant role in the US-Iran ceasefire efforts, highlighting the country’s growing diplomatic stature on the global stage.

The resolution, moved by Balochistan Interior Minister Mir Ziaullah Lango, lauded the “diplomatic insight and excellent leadership” of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir for their role during the ongoing regional conflict.

Speaking during the session, Lango described the leadership of the prime minister and the army chief as “exemplary,” stating that their efforts in the Iran-US conflict had enhanced Pakistan’s image as a responsible and peace-loving nation. He noted that the country had successfully drawn the attention of global leadership through its balanced and constructive approach.

The interior minister further emphasized that the diplomatic initiatives undertaken by Pakistan have elevated its national prestige and international standing. He expressed confidence that Pakistan’s serious and measured role in promoting global peace would continue to strengthen in the future.

Lango also voiced optimism that Pakistan’s peace efforts would yield positive results, adding that the country’s role is being widely recognized and appreciated across the world. “Today, the entire world is aware of Pakistan’s efforts for peace and is praising the leadership of the prime minister and the field marshal,” he said.

The resolution reflects a unified stance of the provincial assembly in support of Pakistan’s diplomatic engagement aimed at reducing tensions and fostering stability in the region.
