Former porn star Mia Khalifa has expressed her deep concerns over Israeli strikes on Beirut, saying she was “broken and shaken” by the latest escalation, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.
In a video message circulated widely on social media, Khalifa, who is of Lebanese origin, said she was devastated by reports of heavy bombardment in the Lebanese capital, including 160 strikes she claimed were carried out within 10 minutes on multiple locations.
“Today’s news left me numb,” she said, adding that residential buildings, schools, medical facilities, displacement shelters, and even funeral gatherings had been targeted.
She also claimed that public funds, including her own tax contributions, were indirectly supporting the Israeli military campaign.
According to Lebanese health authorities and local media reports, more than 350 people were killed and over 1,500 were injured in the latest wave of strikes, which followed days of heightened regional tensions.
Khalifa further said one of the hospitals she was born in had been reduced to rubble in the bombardment, describing the situation as “one of the hardest things to witness.”
The reported strikes came shortly after a ceasefire announcement involving the United States, Israel and Iran.
Reactions to Khalifa’s posts were divided on social media, with some users expressing sympathy and solidarity with her emotional remarks, while others urged caution and highlighted the broader geopolitical context of the conflict.
