A stone-hearted father-in-law brutally murdered his 22-year-old newly married daughter-in-law with a sharp-edged weapon in Muridke, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The incident took place in Mohallah Ahmadpur of Muridke. Police said that the deceased girl was married to Amjad, who was the son of Rafiq.
Police further revealed that the accused, Rafiq, tried to rape his daughter-in-law, but, over her resistance, he killed her.
After registering a case, the police arrested the accused, Rafiq, and started an investigation.
