A man killed his sister, mother of three children, at Sanda area of Lahore on Tuesday for ‘honour’, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Faqeer Hussain shot his 27-year-old sister Rozeena dead because he was suspicious of her character.
Police lodged a case on the complaint of the victim’s father and launched a hunt for the suspect.
The text of the FIR registered reads that Rozeena had married 11 years ago, and that now she had been living at her parents’ home after seeking divorce from her husband.
It further says that she had relations with a man named Shahzeb. “This infuriated her brother who eventually took her life,” reads the FIR.
