Indian television star Hina Khan, celebrated for her roles in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, and Bigg Boss 11, has spoken candidly about the professional challenges she has faced since battling breast cancer.
Currently seen in the reality series Pati Patni Aur Panga alongside her husband Rocky Jaiswal, Hina revealed that she hasn’t received any new work offers since her diagnosis and surgery. The actress shared that after falling ill, she had to turn down multiple projects, and now she senses reluctance from the industry to approach her.
“No one has directly told me, but I can feel people are hesitant for all the right reasons. Maybe they think I haven’t recovered completely,” Hina said, acknowledging that she understands their perspective.
Calling Pati Patni Aur Panga her first project since her health battle, the 37-year-old star stressed she is ready to return to acting and is even open to auditions. “I’m open to everything, please call me,” she urged filmmakers, hoping to break what she feels is an unspoken barrier.
Hina also shared her dream role, playing a spy agent for OTT or big-screen projects. Inspired by the action-thriller Special Ops, she said she is manifesting the opportunity to join the spy-action universe.
