Following reports that six people have been injured in incidents of dog biting in Islamabad in just one week, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Sunday announced changes in the duty timings of its stray dogs’ teams, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The CDA has now decided that the operation would be carried out against dogs between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM and then from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
It is pertinent to mention here that different streets of the federal capital are infested with stray dogs, leading to a sense of insecurity in residents.
Mostly women, children and the elderly fall prey to dogs.
The people have appealed to the authorities to increase the number of stray dogs’ teams.
