The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) killed four terrorists in a search and clearance operation in the Nowshera district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), 24Newshd tv channel reported on Friday.
The CTD Mardan Region and KP police conducted a joint raid in Nowshera on a tip-off.
As the terrorists fired shots at the raiding team that retaliated leaving four terrorists dead.
The dead were identified as Latif Khan, Muhammad Shahzeb, Muhammad Adil and Zahid.
They belonged to a banned outfit and were involved in the targeted killing of lawmen, and attacks on police in Charsadda, Mardan and Peshawar.
