The committee formed by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and the Istehkam-i-Pakistan Party (IPP) has compiled a list of constituencies and candidates for the seat adjustment in the forthcoming elections, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to the sources, the IPP committee consisting of Ishaq Khakwani, Aun Chaudhary and Nauman Langriyal has compiled the list in consultation with the leadership and party leaders.
The IPP leadership will hand over the seat adjustment list to the committee set up by the Muslim League-N by tonight.
Sources say that the IPP will hand over the seat adjustment list for 20 seats of the National Assembly to the Muslim League-N. Nineteen constituencies of the National Assembly belong to Punjab and one belongs to Karachi.
According to sources, IPP wants seat adjustment on 44 constituencies of Punjab Assembly. However, it is expected that the PML-N will apologize on seat adjustment on some PA seats.
Sources informed that the decision regarding the seat adjustment with the Muslim League-Nawaz was approved in the meeting of the Istehkam-i-Pakistan Party held on Saturday.
