Islamabad's Anti-Terrorism Court has issued arrest warrants for several Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur, Bushra Bibi, MNA Shahid Khattak, and MPA Sohail Afridi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Tuesday.

The arrest warrants were issued in connection with a case registered at Ramna police station. The police had submitted an application to the court seeking the warrants, which was approved by Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra.

The case pertains to a protest staged at Islamabad's D-Chowk, with charges filed against the accused under anti-terrorism laws.

This development marks a significant escalation in legal proceedings related to recent political demonstrations in the capital.
