LGH hosts hands-on Endoscopic Sinus Surgery Workshop for young doctors

A hands-on Endoscopic Sinus Surgery Training Workshop was held on Wednesday at the ENT Department of Lahore General Hospital (LGH), where senior medical experts provided practical training to young doctors on modern surgical techniques and the use of advanced instruments.

During the session, participants received detailed briefings on cutting-edge endoscopic sinus surgery procedures, equipment handling, and technical protocols.

Senior specialists demonstrated various modern surgical methods, offering real-time guidance aimed at enhancing clinical decision-making and operative skills—an effort that was widely appreciated by attendees.

Doctors from Punjab and other provinces participated actively in the workshop.

Principal Ameer-ud-Din Medical College (AMC), Prof Dr Farooq Afzal, lauded the efforts of the organizing committee—Dr Adeel Niaz, Dr Maqsood Ahmed, Dr Amna Rafiq, and Dr Zohra Aleem—for successfully arranging the training event. He also distributed shields among participants and thanked the master trainers for their valuable contribution, expressing hope for their continued support in strengthening training programs at PGMI, AMC, and LGH.

Medical Superintendent Prof Dr Faryad Hussain, in his address, reaffirmed the hospital’s commitment to providing world-class training and equipping doctors with up-to-date medical skills, ensuring the healthcare system remains aligned with international standards.

The event was attended by Course Directors Dr Muhammad Ilyas and Dr Aamir Ayub, along with Master Trainers Prof Anwar-ul-Haq, Prof Najam-ul-Hasnain Khan, Prof Tahir Rasheed, and Prof Saeed Khan.
