After taking the lives of scores of people in Karachi, dumpers have now started resulting in the deaths of people in Lahore also as a boy and a girl travelling in a car were killed after they hit a dumper parked on the main road in Township area on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Police said that Shehroz and Saba died on the spot.
The Force informed that the driver of the dumper had parked the vehicle on the main road and dozed off.
Later, the bodies of the deceased were shifted to a hospital.
Police said that Shehroz was the nephew of Malik Shaukat alias Shauki Changarr.
On Sunday, the Sindh government banned the entry of dumpers in Karachi during the daytime after a series of accidents left many people dead.
This was decided in a meeting, chaired by Sindh Chief Secretary Asif Haider Shah in Karachi.
The meeting decided to allow entry of dumpers in the city from 11 pm to 6 am only.
The chief secretary also ordered the registration of FIRs along with challan against people driving carelessly.
