Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry paid an official visit to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, where he held high-level meetings aimed at strengthening bilateral security and counter-terrorism cooperation between the two countries.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, during the visit, Talal Chaudhry met Saudi Deputy Minister of Interior Prince Dr Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf.
The two sides agreed to enhance cooperation in the fields of security, intelligence sharing and counter-terrorism to address regional and global challenges.
The minister emphasised that continuous engagement and coordination between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are essential for ensuring peace and stability in the region.
Talal Chaudhry also represented Pakistan at the World Defence Show 2026 held in Riyadh, where defence officials and industry leaders from across the world participated.
On the occasion, the minister conveyed warm Ramadan greetings to the Saudi leadership on behalf of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
Officials said the visit reflects the deep-rooted brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and their shared commitment to regional security and stability.
