The Sindh government has withdrawn the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) and ordered the release of prisoners arrested under the MPO, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
In this regard, the Sindh Home Department has issued an order. Orders issued from February 1 to February 9 have been withdrawn.
Orders were issued to Central Jail Karachi and Malir Jail, directing the jail authorities that all prisoners arrested under the MPO should be released.
