Tourists' entry banned due to landslides in Abbottabad

The district administration imposed an immediate ban on the entry of tourists in Galiyat, Abbottabad, due to landslides, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to details, the decision to impose a ‘ban’ was taken after snowfall and landslides on Murree Road. Entry of tourists from Harno and Barian to Galiyat is banned 
It is pertinent to mention here that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is experiencing a return of cold weather, with intermittent rain and snowfall affecting both upper and plain areas since last night.
Snowfall continues in Malam Jabba, Kalam, Mahodand, Kaghan Valley, Shangla Top, Yakhtange, and Achrosara, while rain has been reported in Swat Valley, Mansehra, Balakot, Abbottabad, Haripur, Mardan, Kohat, and Bara.
The cold has intensified following the precipitation.
The Meteorological Department has forecast rain with thundershowers at some locations in Peshawar, Swabi, Charsadda, Nowshera, Karak, Lakki Marwat, Tank, Dera Ismail Khan, Orakzai, Khyber, and Kurram.
Tourist routes are reopening, including the main Murree Road, as snowfall spreads across the upper mountain ranges.
