An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore on Tuesday sent three newly arrested suspects in a case related to the May 9 violence to jail on a 14-day judicial remand for an identification parade, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
ATC Judge Abhar Gul Khan conducted the proceedings, wherein the Lahore Cantt police produced the accused, Awais Ali Butt, Muhammad Shahzad, and Muhammad Arif with covered faces.
The police contended that the accused were involved in Jinnah House Lahore’s attack and arson case. They were arrested in case number 96/23 of Sarwar Road police station.
The investigating officer requested the identification parade of the accused.
He held that the accused were in hiding for fear of arrest.
The court sent the accused to jail on a 14-day judicial remand for an identification parade.
The court ordered to present the identity parade report of the accused on January 23.
