Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced a gathering at Mazar-e-Quaid on Sunday at 200 pm, 24NewsHD TV reported.

Addressing a press conference, PTI Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh accused the Sindh government of reneging on its promises, stating that despite completing all required formalities, official permission for the rally had not been granted.

Sheikh said that Provincial Minister Nasir Hussain Shah had assured the PTI earlier on Saturday morning that arrangements would proceed, promising that permission would be issued.

However, police later halted preparations at Jinnah Bagh, stopped rally equipment from entering the venue, and locked the park’s gates.

Criticising the delay, Haleem Adil Sheikh remarked that if permission is granted now, “it should come with Aladdin as well,” adding that it is impossible to make rally arrangements at such short notice.

He further announced that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Afridi will visit Mazar-e-Quaid on Sunday, and the PTI rally will now be held outside the public gate of the mausoleum at 2 pm.
