Member of National Assembly Mubarak Zeib Khan joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) after winning the election as an independent from Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s jirga on by-elections in Bajaur bore fruit.
Mubarak Zeib Khan withdrew his candidate Mian Habib Gul in favour of PTI candidate Malik Rahatullah.
In a press conference, he said that he unconditionally withdrew his candidate Mian Habib Gul in favour of PTI's nominee Malik Rahatullah.
“I have become a part of PTI and announced running an election campaign for PTI candidate Malik Rahatullah,” he said.
Mubarak Zeib Khan is the brother of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf activist Rehan Zeib Khan who was killed by unknown persons a few days before the general elections.
The general elections in Bajaur were postponed due to the killing. The by-polls are scheduled to take place on July 11.
