As many as 87 people were killed while 149 were injured in different rain-related incidents in the country during the last 15 days, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) report, 30 people, including 14 kids, were killed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) alone during the aforementioned period.
As many as 30 people were injured in these incidents in the province.
In Punjab, 29 people, including 15 children and four women, lost their lives while 77 were injured.
Similarly, one death was reported from Kashmir, 16 from Sindh and 11 from Balochistan.
As many as 34, three and five people were injured in Sindh, Balochistan and Kashmir, respectively.
As many as six people were killed across the country during the last 24 hours.
The rains also caused damage to 242 homes; 171 homes were partially damaged, while 71 were completely damaged, said the report, adding that 106 cattle were also washed away by floodwaters; seven kilometers of road were damaged while three bridges collapsed.
