Federal Energy Minister Awais Leghari has said that the government was committed to revolutionize power sector of the country and in this respect, the performance of the power distribution companies has been improved significantly, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Thursday, Energy Minister Leghari said that government has also brought downed the losses of the power from Rs591 billion to record low of Rs399 billion. He said during the first of the incumbent government, Rs191 billion losses were saved.
Federal Minister said that during the previous year Rs276 billion electricity was stolen from the national grid system.
