Renowned Pakistani host and actor Ahsan Khan, during an interview on Fuchsia Magazine, expressed his heartfelt views on parenting and gender roles in our society.
He shed light on various issues but particularly focused on the upbringing of daughters and women empowerment.
Speaking as a father on the perspective, he urged that daughters need more emotional and moral support from their parents to navigate the challenges of life especially in the family matters. “We need to give daughters more strength as they face more challenges”, he stated.
Ahsan Khan further emphasized the need to make daughters more empowered and independent so they need not to rely on anyone. He remarked: “Make women so independent that they do not suffer in the absence of a man.”
He also stressed to make women self-reliant and capable of handling their affairs independently by relating his views to religious ideas.
Ahsan was appreciated for his progressive and responsible outlook on the status of women in the society.
