A woman who was brutally tortured and then set on fire by her in-laws succumbed to her injuries at PIMS Hospital in Islamabad on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sania Bibi of 28 years was brought to PIMS Hospital one month ago with serious burn injuries. Her in-laws first tortured her and then sprinkled petrol on her and set her on fire.
Sania Bibi got registered a case against her father-in-law Mustasib and her husband Adil Mahmood at Karpa Police Station on June 9.
There were torture marks on her head and on other parts of her body. Her 70-80 percent body has been burnt.
