The Balochistan Police on Friday denied reports circulating on social media claiming that 30 police personnel posted in Ziarat district had resigned from their jobs, describing the claims as completely false and fabricated.
In a statement, the Balochistan Police spokesperson said the reports being shared online were baseless and contrary to the facts.
"The news circulating on social media alleging that 30 police officials in Ziarat have resigned is completely fabricated and has no basis in reality," the spokesperson said.
The spokesperson added that Ziarat Superintendent of Police (SP) Abdul Malik had categorically rejected the reports and expressed ignorance about the claims circulating on social media.
The police urged the public to avoid believing or sharing unverified information and to rely only on official statements issued by the Balochistan Police regarding such matters.
The clarification comes after reports on social media alleged a mass resignation by police personnel serving in Ziarat, a claim that authorities have now firmly denied.
