Pakistani social media personality Aliza Sultan, former wife of actor Feroze Khan, has made an emotional appeal for stronger action against crimes targeting children, saying no parent can truly live in peace while such incidents continue to occur across the country.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Aliza shared a heartfelt video in which she spoke as a mother of two, expressing the constant fear and anxiety parents experience after repeated reports of child kidnappings, sexual abuse, and murders.
"I am Aliza, and I am a mother of two children. Most of the people who follow me are parents too. Every day we hear about children being kidnapped, sexually abused, and then murdered. As a parent, I cannot sleep peacefully, and I know countless other mothers and fathers feel the same. Whenever our children go to school, step outside to play, or even leave our sight for a moment, we live with the fear of whether they will return home safely," she said.
Reflecting on the unimaginable pain endured by affected families, Aliza said no one can truly comprehend the suffering of parents who lose their children in such horrific circumstances.
Addressing the authorities, including Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the Punjab Police, and Sindh Police, she urged them to take decisive action against those responsible for crimes against children.
Referring to a recent tragic case involving the murder of a child, Aliza stressed that the brutality inflicted upon innocent victims is beyond imagination. She further argued that convicted offenders should face the strictest possible punishment, saying they should not merely be imprisoned but made an example of through severe public accountability.
Her emotional message resonated deeply with social media users, particularly parents, who flooded the comments section with support and shared their own fears.
One user wrote, "I also have a six-year-old son. I hugged him the entire night after hearing yesterday's news. I can't even explain what I felt."
Another commented, "Thank you for speaking up. There are multiple new cases of violence against children in Pakistan every single day, yet our leaders remain absent. Nobody seems to realize how serious this crisis has become. Our children are not safe, and neither are we."

Another mother shared her concerns, writing, "I have three sons, and the current situation has made me extremely anxious. My youngest has just turned four, and I am scared to even send him to school. I never felt this level of fear with my older children. May Allah protect all our children. Ameen."
