The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) on Friday announced the results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part-II annual examinations for the Science Group, 24NewsHD TV reported.
The results were officially unveiled during a ceremony held at the Karachi Board office.
Board Chairman Musarrif Ali Rajput formally announced the results, while the Controller of Examinations presented the examination statistics and merit list.
According to the board, 176,152 students were registered for the examinations, while 175,200 candidates appeared in the exams.
A total of 141,688 students passed, while 29,655 were declared unsuccessful, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 80.87%.
The board said that 35,529 students secured A-1 grade, 51,022 obtained A grade, 34,910 achieved B grade and 17,153 students passed with C grade.
Muhammad Azlan Syed secured the first position by scoring 1,040 marks, achieving 94.55%.
Reja Kamran claimed the second position with 1,034 marks, while Ayesha Adnan stood third after obtaining 1,033 marks.
The board further revealed that 35,529 students earned the prestigious A-1 grade.
