Railways Minister Azam Khan Swati has suspended six officers over Ghotki train accident that left dozens of people dead, 24NewsHD reported on Wednesday.
The Lahore Railways Headquarters notified suspension orders. According to the notification, two officers of grade 18 and two officers of grade 17 were among the suspended.
Also on Wednesday, three officers were suspended over derailment Khyber Mail near Hyderabad. The railways minister vowed to dig into the tragic incident and bring to book the culprits.
