A policeman was caught red-handed while he was stealing electric wires of a private company worth millions of rupees in Dherki, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The incident took place in the Dad Leghari area of Dheriki. Residents of the area intercepted the suspicious person and tried to hand him over to the police.
Soon after receiving the report, a police team rushed to the spot. The mobile phone of a resident who was making a video of the scene was also snatched.
Later, the video surfaced on social media. The residents of the area appealed to relevant officials to take action against the black sheep.
The police said that the cop was on a secret mission they also termed all the allegations as baseless.
