Pakistani actress and content creator Romaisa Khan has responded to viral social media rumours linking her to an alleged altercation that reportedly took place at a Karachi cafe.
The controversy began after a video circulated online showing a physical dispute involving several individuals inside a cafe.
The clip claimed that Romaisa Khan and another woman were involved in the incident.

As the video spread on different social media platforms, Romaisa took to her own account to address the allegations and clarify that she had no connection to the incident.
In a video message, Romaisa expressed surprise at waking up to headlines claiming she had been involved in a fight.
“I woke up this morning only to find out that I apparently got into a fight with some girls and, according to the rumours, I was the one who got beaten up,” she said.
The Jinki Ki Shadi Unki Shadi actress immediately dismissed the claims as fake news and questioned why people were so quick to assume she was the person featured in the circulating clip.
Romaisa pointed out that she is not the only person with the name.
“I know whenever people hear the name Romaisa, they immediately think of me, which I actually like,” she said with a smile. “But that person is not me.”
While addressing the rumours, Romaisa maintained a humorous tone throughout the video.
She remarked that if someone with her name had actually confronted another person for bad behaviour, she might not even feel the need to clarify the situation.
However, she admitted that she was particularly annoyed by claims suggesting she had lost the fight.
She told viewers to “look at my biceps” jokingly. Romaisa also criticised social media pages that used her image alongside the viral story to attract views.
She claimed that whenever she personally comments on such posts to clarify that she is not involved, many pages quickly delete the content.
She also delivered a direct message to those spreading the rumours, asking them to stop associating her name with fabricated stories.
“Stop ruining my name,” she said firmly. “Just stop ruining my name.”
