Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Monday lauded President Asif Ali Zardari’s historic address to Parliament while criticizing the opposition for what he called an "unserious" attitude.

Speaking to the media at Parliament House, Bilawal highlighted that President Zardari is the first in the country's history to address Parliament for the eighth time.

He noted that the president discussed the government’s efforts to improve the economy while also acknowledging the challenges Pakistan faces.

However, Bilawal expressed disappointment over the opposition’s conduct, stating, "It is regrettable that our opposition friends in Parliament seem completely unserious. Their behaviour suggests they have no interest in solving the people’s problems."

He further criticized the opposition for prioritizing political theatrics over real issues, accusing them of making noise instead of engaging in constructive debate.

"While they kept disrupting the session, President Zardari delivered a historic speech," Bilawal remarked.

The PPP leader reaffirmed the government’s commitment to addressing economic and governance challenges, urging the opposition to focus on solutions rather than political point-scoring.
