Accomplished Bollywood producer and late legendary actress Sridevi’s husband, Boney Kapoor, announced that he will produce a sequel to her final film Mom by casting their youngest daughter, Khushi Kapoor, in a lead role. The exciting announcement, causing delight on all over social media, came to light during the 25th IIFA Awards, where Boney expressed his views for the next chapter of the well-recognized film.
The sequel’s development was luckily made at a time when Khushi Kapoor had stepped into the industry with her latest projects, Loveyapa and Nadaaniyan.
Revealing the delightful update, Boney Kapoor expressed huge pride and Jubilation in both of his daughters, Khushi and Janhvi Kapoor, acknowledging their ongoing contributions to follow in their mother’s footsteps in the showbiz industry. He said, “I have watched all of Khushi’s films, The Archies, Loveyapa, and Nadaaniyan. I am planning a film with her too after 'No Entry.' It would be Mom 2.”
