Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said that Asif Ali Zardari is a controversial president.

Reacting to President Zardari’s address to the joint session of the parliament, Barrister Gohar said that Zardari could not prove in his speech today that Pakistan is a democratic country. He said his party would continue to protest the way it protested today. He said that parliament was never given importance and decisions were always made outside the parliament. He said that parliament is not complete and his party has highlighted it multiple times.

PTI central leader Omar Ayub Khan said Zardari calls himself president of Pakistan, but the PTI does not accept this “installed government”.

Responding to President Zardari’s address to the joint session of the parliament, Omar Ayub said Zardari did not say anything good in today’s speech. He said that Zardari’s party, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), has broken all records of corruption in Sindh where they are in power.

He said that Zardari and his son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari are now going to sell water of Sindh’s share. At the time of passage of the Pakistan Electronic Crimes Act (PECA), he said, Zardari stood by the government, which came into existence as a result of vote rigging.
