Authorities in Bahrain have arrested an Indian telecommunications engineer for sharing sensitive geospatial data, photographs, and video reconnaissance of strategic locations with the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to details, initial reports indicate that an Indian telecom engineer identified as Nitin Mohan shared imagery and operationally relevant information that could be used to support foreign intelligence analysis and targeting assessments.
The Ministry of Interior in Bahrain has confirmed the arrest but has not released further technical or investigative details.
Observers note that the case highlights continuing concerns over foreign intelligence infiltration and the security risks posed by insiders within sensitive technological sectors.
