An event was held at Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) in Karachi to distribute free laptops among the students under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Shaikhul Jamia Zabta Khan Shinwari, Vice Chancellor Khalid Mehmood Iraqi, Director ICCBS Dr. Mohammad Raza Shah, and renowned scientist Dr. Ataur Rehman were also present on the occasion.
Vice Chancellor Dr Zabta Khan Shinwari said the university remains committed to education and research in Urdu and is contributing significantly to national development.
He expressed gratitude to the government and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for equipping students with tools that will enhance academic and research output, and he urged recipients to use the FUUAST laptops responsibly for study and research.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ataur Rehman said that the laptop will play a vital role in polishing students' learning techniques.
Shaikhul Jamia Zabta Khan Shinkwari advised the students to keep in touch with latest technology.
