The federal government on Tuesday issued orders for the transfer and posting of senior civil and police officers within the federal bureaucracy.
According to official notifications issued by the Establishment Division, Muhammad Hameer Karim, a Grade-22 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, has been appointed Secretary of the Economic Affairs Division. Prior to this appointment, he was serving as Special Secretary in the same division.
In a separate move, Muhammad Masoom, a Grade-19 officer of the Police Service of Pakistan, has been transferred from the Federal Investigation Agency. His services have been placed at the disposal of the Punjab government.
Officials said the transfers and appointments are part of routine administrative changes aimed at strengthening governance and improving coordination between federal and provincial institutions.
