In a startling revelation, the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that India has launched six ballistic missiles from Adampur, with five of them falling in Amritsar and one in Adampur itself, allegedly targeting India's own Sikh population.
Speaking at an urgent press briefing, the military spokesperson accused India of orchestrating a "conspiracy against its own citizens," stating:
“India has started launching ballistic missiles on its own population. Five landed in Amritsar and one in Adampur.”
The DG ISPR emphasised that the attacks appear to have specifically targeted the Sikh community, calling it a deliberate move to escalate the situation.
“India has conspired to target the Sikh population. Our full sympathy is with the Sikhs and all minorities facing state oppression,” he added.
He said this is a shocking development and provocation of the highest order, with India now started firing ballistic missiles at its own population.
This doesn’t make any sort of sense and is total insanity, he said.
He said India targeted its own population as it dropped five missiles in Amritsar and Adampur.
According to security sources, Pakistan has electronic evidence of India's act of firing six ballistic missiles into its own territory.
The sources said that by targeting Sikhs in Punjab, India wants to create hatred among Sikhs against Pakistan.
Earlier, India had fired three missiles at Amritsar on the night of May 7/8, which was mentioned by the DG ISPR in his press conference, security sources

The spokesperson’s remarks come amid a heightened state of alert across the region, with fears growing of further escalation between the two nuclear-armed neighbours.
