Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi saluted the unparalleled love, sacrifice and greatness of mothers, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
In a message on International Mother’s Day, Mohsin Naqvi said a mother is that great being who silently endures every sorrow, every pain and every trial for her children and shares happiness.
'Mother's lap is the first school of every child from where the training of love, morality, patience and basic principles of humanity begins,' Mohsin Naqvi said.
'Salute to those mothers who raised lion-hearted sons for the fight for truth,' he added.
He said without a mother, life is incomplete, colourless and desolate; the lack of a mother is a reality that can never be complete.
My mother's prayers have always been present in the place where I am today, Mohsin Naqvi concluded.
