The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday that militants belonging to the Indian proxy Fitna al Khwarij group attacked Cadet College Wana in South Waziristan District.
According to an ISPR statement, attackers attempted to breach the college perimeter and rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the main gate, causing the gate’s collapse and damage to nearby infrastructure.
However, their nefarious designs were swiftly foiled by the vigilant and resolute response of Pakistan's troops.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Cadet College Wana, praising the security forces for their swift and courageous response that foiled the assault.
The minister lauded the professionalism and bravery of the troops who eliminated two Khwarij militants belonging to an Indian-backed terrorist outfit during the operation.
“By acting swiftly and decisively, our security forces successfully thwarted the Khwarij’s cowardly attempt to attack Cadet College Wana,” Mohsin Naqvi said.
He added, “I salute the courage and dedication of our forces who protected the lives of innocent cadets and prevented a major tragedy.”
