The Establishment Division on Monday issued a series of notifications announcing important transfers and postings across various federal departments, marking a new round of administrative reshuffles aimed at strengthening governance and institutional efficiency.
According to official notifications, Captain (Retd) Muhammad Mahmood, who had been serving as Secretary, Housing and Works Division, has been transferred and appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jinnah Medical Complex and Research Center. His posting will be on deputation for a period of three years, reflecting the government’s emphasis on experienced leadership in key public health and research institutions.
In another major move, the services of Riffatullah Khan, a Grade 18 officer of the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) currently posted in the Federal Constabulary, have been handed over to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government. The transfer is expected to bolster provincial policing capacity and enhance coordination between federal and provincial law enforcement bodies.
Sara Malik, a Grade 18 officer of the Information Group, has received a one-year extension in her deputation as Deputy Director at the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). The extension, effective from May 18, 2025, comes in recognition of her continued role in disaster communication and public information management.
Nadia Shah, Senior Lecturer at Dow University, has been appointed Additional Directing Staff at the National School of Public Policy (NSPP), Lahore, for a three-year term. Her appointment is expected to contribute to training and capacity building for Pakistan’s civil service officers.
