The Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis has made registration on the Pak Soft Skills Training mandatory for all individuals seeking employment abroad, 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday.
According to the ministry, no protector stamp will be issued on passports without registration, as the measure aims to curb human trafficking and related exploitation.
The new condition will take effect from November 19.
The registration process is free of cost, and applicants must provide complete information, including their CNIC, passport number, educational qualifications, and details of the intended foreign employment.
Officials said the initiative will not only ensure transparency and verification of job seekers but also help prevent human trafficking and illegal migration.
The ministry hopes the step will significantly reduce human smuggling cases and protect the rights of Pakistanis pursuing jobs overseas.
