DHQ Hospital clerk Rana Nasir Nazir was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the details, the anti-corruption team Sargodha, raided and arrested the accused red handed when the accused was receiving a bribe of Rs. 50,000 from the plaintiff to get a job in the cardiology block, and previously also received a bribe of Rs. 150,000 from the plaintiff to get a ward boy job in cardiology. Muhammad Waqas son of Mazhar Hussain, resident of Mohalla Arainwala, District Khushab, filed a petition alleging that Rana Nasir Nazir was demanding a bribe of Rs 50,000 to get a job at DHQ Hospital Sargodha. Earlier, the accused had also received Rs 150,000 for recruitment as a ward boy in Cardiology, on which the anti-corruption team instructed to get the accused caught red-handed while giving the bribe.
Regional Director Anti-Corruption Sargodha ordered to raid upon which, Tasawar Abbas Bosal, Assistant Director (Investigation), Anti-Corruption Sargodha, along with his raiding team, conducted a raid under the supervision of Muhammad Ishaq Jasra, Judicial Magistrate and arrested the accused Rana Nasir Nazir, Clerk, DHQ Hospital Sargodha, red-handed while accepting a bribe.
Marked notes of Rs. 50,000 were recovered from the accused and he was arrested on the spot. The anti-corruption team has registered a case against the accused for accepting bribes and started an investigation. The Anti-Corruption Department Sargodha has launched a crackdown to arrest corrupt mafia red-handed while accepting bribes across the division, in accordance with the vision of the Punjab Government.
