Timothée Chalamet turned heads once again as he was spotted covering up his freshly shaved head while stepping out in New York City on Thursday, just a day after his date night with Kylie Jenner at a Yankees game.
The 29-year-old Dune star was seen leaving Fouquet’s Hotel in Tribeca, flashing a slight smile as he headed out to his next destination. Dressed casually in a white hoodie, orange trousers, and brown boots, Chalamet kept his new look under wraps with a hood pulled up, maintaining a low-key yet effortlessly stylish appearance.
According to fans, the actor might have been heading to Regal Times Square Cinema, where he teased on his Instagram Stories that he would screen the first 30 minutes of his highly anticipated new film, Marty Supreme. The actor had shared a screenshot of a New York City map with the cinema circled, writing: “Show up here 9 p.m. I’ll show you the first 30 minutes of Marty Supreme. First come, first served.”
Marty Supreme, slated for release on Christmas Day, follows Marty Mauser, a young man chasing an unlikely dream of becoming a world-class table tennis player. The film’s description reads: “Marty Mauser, a young man with a dream no one respects, goes to hell and back in pursuit of greatness.”
The A24 production boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, Tyler, The Creator (Tyler Okonma), Kevin O’Leary, and Fran Drescher.
Earlier this week, Chalamet surprised fans during an Instagram Live, where he officially unveiled his buzzcut. The actor appeared inside a transparent box filled with orange ping-pong balls, a nod to his character in Marty Supreme, before removing a large ball covering his head and revealing the bold new look.
Reactions to the transformation flooded social media platforms. One user wrote, “Open Instagram and Timothée Chalamet is live and bald,” while another added, “He’s still fine with it, OMG.” Some fans even joked that he looked “ready for divorce and retirement.”
