A waste picker boy was killed and another was seriously injured when an explosive device exploded at Zero Point near Dera Allahyar in Jaffarabad.
According to an eyewitness, the injured boy was picking up garbage when the explosive device inside a pile suddenly exploded with a loud explosion.
The police shifted the body and the injured child to nearby hospital where the victim was identified as Zakir Domki.
The injured boy was identified as Siraj Domki. After necessary formalities, the body was handed over to the heirs, while the injured child was referred to Larkana, Sindh. The police are investigating the incident further.
