DPM Dar constitutes body to decide the fate of tampered vehicles

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar chaired a committee meeting to review the existing laws and policies related to seized and tampered vehicles, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Ishaq Dar tasked a sub-committee with formulating a comprehensive procedure for the disposal/disposal of these vehicles and after detailed deliberations, the sub-committee unanimously finalized the customs general order. 

Deputy Prime Minister emphasized on the importance of this decision to make the process of destroying seized and tampered vehicles more effective, bring greater transparency. One of the goals of this decision is to improve efficiency and maximize revenue from the auction of seized vehicles. 

The meeting was attended by the Minister for Law and Justice, Special Assistants to the Prime Minister (SAPM) Tariq Bajwa, Chairman FBR, representatives from the Attorney General's Office and the Ministry of Law and Justice.
