Following the arrest of PTI stalwart Hammad Azhar, the government has decided to expedite the execution of arrest warrants issued for several party leaders in connection with different cases registered against them, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
Sources told the 24News TV channel that Junaid Akbar, Abdul Ghani, Shibli Faraz, Murad Saeed, Hammad Azhar, Zartaj Gul, Amir Masood Mughal, Dr. Amjad Ali, Meena Khan Afridi and Ali Amin Gandapur were wanted by the police in connection with different cases.
Giving further details, they said that arrest warrants issued for Junaid Akbar and Abdul Ghani would be executed in connection with November 26 protest case.
Similarly, they added, arrest warrants issued for Shibli Faraz, Murad Saeed and Hammad Azhar would be executed in the Judicial Complex case.
Similarly, Zartaj Gul, Amir Masood Mughal, Dr. Amjad Ali and Meena Khan Afridi are also wanted by the police.
Likewise, legal action would be taken against Ali Amin Gandapur and Umar Tanveer Butt in Faizabad protest case.
