Saqib Chadhar has hit back at Momina Iqbal’s sister Rimsha Iqbal over her claim that the family cut ties with him in 2024.
In a series of Instagram Stories, Saqib shared a 2026 flight booking and questioned why, according to him, tickets were still being arranged through him years after the alleged separation.
Rimsha, who has also represented her sister in the ongoing legal dispute, had reportedly said that the family ended its contact with Saqib in 2024 after learning about allegations linked to his past. Saqib has now challenged that version of events, saying the family could not have completely cut ties with him in 2024 if Rimsha was still allegedly asking him to arrange international tickets later on.
In one of his Instagram Stories, Saqib wrote, “2024 mein character pata chal gaya tha, par 2026 tak mujh se tickets karwati rahi. Yaar, kis had tak ye jhooti hain.” Through the post, he questioned how the family could claim to have separated from him in 2024 while, according to his allegation, travel arrangements were still being made through him in 2026.
Saqib then shared a flight booking document carrying the name “IQBAL / RIMSHA MS.” The itinerary showed a January 2026 trip from Lahore to Sydney via Bangkok, with Thai Airways listed on the booking. He placed the words “Check dates” over the document, drawing attention to the 2026 travel date.
The booking was shared by Saqib as part of his argument that contact between the two sides continued after the alleged 2024 cut-off. However, the document itself does not establish who paid for the ticket or prove the wider allegations being exchanged in the dispute.
The Iqbal family has denied Saqib’s financial allegations and maintained that they paid for their own overseas travel. Both sides have continued to present different accounts of their dealings, while the wider dispute remains under legal and investigative proceedings.
Saqib also responded to claims surrounding the NCCIA investigation and the court proceedings. In another Instagram Story, he wrote, “Kitne jhoot bolo ge aap log,” accusing the sisters of repeatedly making false statements.
He specifically referred to claims that the NCCIA had declared him “guilty” during the July 28 proceedings. Saqib shared a copy of the Sessions Court order from that date and asked his followers to check the document for the word “guilty.”
The July 28 hearing concerned Saqib’s pre-arrest bail application. The court noted that the investigation against him had been completed, extended his interim bail and fixed September 3 for the next hearing.
On September 3, Saqib’s lawyer withdrew the bail application after the investigating officer told the court that he was not currently required to be arrested. The court then disposed of the petition as withdrawn.
The order was related to bail proceedings and was not a final decision on the overall case or a declaration of guilt or innocence.
Saqib has now used his Instagram Stories to challenge the claims being made against him, particularly the timeline of his alleged separation from the Iqbal family. By sharing the 2026 travel document and the court order, he has asked the public to look at the dates and compare them with the statements made by the other side.
